Manufacturing Engineer
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:

  • ​Develop 3-dimensional Solid Works solid models to aid manufacture of parts per OEM design definition supplied with customer contracts
  • Draft 2-dimensional Solid Works manufacturing support drawings
  • Develop aircraft mold line geometry derived from loft data in the form of digital mylers, equations, and/or coordinate matrix tables
  • Review solid models developed by peers for accuracy prior to release
  • Follow configuration control procedures for release of all deliverables
  • Overcome​ technical obstacles through research and deductive reasoning
  • Check and scale digital mylars as required


Paint Lead
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:

  • ​Perform team lead functions within the paint department
  • Develop paint procedures
  • Follow traveler, drawing, and specification requirements pertaining to paint
  • Identify and initiate procurement of required materials
  • Supervise masking and paint personnel
  • Develop and follow process procedure requirements as applicable for operation
  • Provide oversight and clear instructions to other employeees
  • Perform any other duties as required by the organization


Skills:

​Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Aerospace manufacturing and NADCAP implementation and audit process is a plus.


Assembler - Journeyman
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:

  • ​Sheet metal aircraft parts assembly
  • Verify that materials/parts required to assemble a part are the correct type and meet the traveler, drawing, and specification requirements
  • Make tools when required for the job
  • Read, review, and follow the traveler, drawing, specification, and work instructions
  • Communicate errors and/or changes to the appropriate personnel
  • Perform various functions such as: soldering, bonding, rivet installation, electrical, mechanical, epoxy to fulfill requirements
  • Bag and tag finished product
  • Perform any other duties as required by the organization

Skills:

​Familiarity with drawings, specifications, math skills (algerbra and geometry), and work instructions. Drilling and riveting skills essential. Machining experience and blueprint reading is a plus.


Machinist - Mill
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:

  • Perform various machining operations such as; CNC mill. 5 axis experience a plus
  • Skills to use support equipment such as, Bridgeport mill, manual lathe and grinders as required
  • General knowledge and understanding of CAD/CAM programming (Solidworks/Camworks is a plus)
  • Support welding and sheet metal with tooling as needed
  • Write programs to mill parts from start to finish
  • Follow traveler procedures

Skills:

  • ​​Mechanically inclined
  • Read blueprints
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn CAD/CAM programs
  • Use precision measuring equipment
  • Safety conscious

Experience:

​Past experience in machining processes. 5-axis experience is a plus.


Quality Control Inspector
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform receiving, In-process, and Final inspection of parts and assemblies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to verify the outside process preformed on parts and hardware conform to print requirements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform testing on hardware and assemblies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain in process and final inspection quality records.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform other duties as required by the organization.
Qualification Requirements:

Pass required vision examination

Skills:
  • The ability to read prints and specifications.
  • Use of hand tools and surface plate set-up.
  • Use of a CMM.
  • Familiarity with ASME Y14.5M
Experience:

5 years minimum experience of mechanical inspection.​


Composite Layup
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:
  • Follow traveler, drawing and specification requirements pertaining to fabrication of composite parts to include fiberglass layups, honeycomb, and metal-to-metal bonded structures.
  • Identify and initiate procurement of required materials
  • Identify tooling requirements
  • Develop required patterns for materials to be used
  • Identify test requirements and ensure proper test coupons are processed with each production batch
  • Program the autoclave to ensure the required cure cycles are followed
  • Develop and follow process procedure requirements as applicable for operation of the composites facility
  • Ensure autoclave is properly maintained and calibrated
  • Provide oversight and clear instructions to other employees assisting in composites fabrication
  • Perform any other duties as required by the organization.​
Skills:
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions to fabricate composite structures using vacuum bagging and autoclave
  • Ability to program and operate autoclave.
Experience:

3 years minimum experience fabricating composite structures.​


Foreign Military Contract Administrator
Scope/Responsibility/Authority:
  • Perform foreign military contract administration.
  • Day-to-day administration of contract issues, including review of new contracts.
  • Administrative support to company president.
  • Obtain export licenses from U.S. Dept. of State.
  • Research and provide quotes for Defense Procurement Agency bids.
  • Arrange for shipment in accordance with terms specified in Letter of Credit documentation.
  • Supplier management and interface as required.
  • Manage shipment, including packaging, marking per MIL-STD-130, transportation, documentation, and follow-up.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with supply chain management, project management, inventory control.
  • Production Lead with NADCAP implementation experience
  • Perform team lead functions within the paint department.
  • Most importantly be able to manage the NADCAP implementation and audit process.
    • Follow traveler, drawing and specification requirements pertaining to paint.
    • Identify and initiate procurement of required materials
    • Supervise masking and paint personnel
    • Develop and follow process procedure requirements as applicable for operation
    • Provide oversight and clear instructions to other employees
    • Perform any other duties as required by the organization.

Experience:

Education: BA/BS College Degree Required.​

 

Training:
Aerospace manufacturing a plus.
